April 27, the first deputy chairman of Kyiv State Administration Anatoliy Holubchenko held a press conference “Kiev and Euro 2012: UEFA requirements, plans of the authorities”, which was attended by the Hotels & Resorts Department of MAYGER. At the press conference Anatoly Golubchenko gave a report about implementation of UEFA requirements for the preparation of the stadium, airport, hotels and other infrastructure of the capital to Euro 2012 as well as plans of local authorities in this field.
“Nothing prevents holding of final European Football Championship 2012 in Kiev” assured Anatoliy Holubchenko. “I want to assure everyone Kiev has no threats, which could cause the cancellation of Euro 2012 ” – he said at the press conference.
Anatoly Holubchenko informed that 7 hotels will be put into operation to Euro 2012 in Kiev. Also, he adds that the funds for repair of all the Kiev’s university campuses which will be used for fans’ accommodation have already been allocated.
