The World Bank and International Finance Corporation have improved Ukraine’s position in the rating «Doing Business – 2013».
This year, Ukraine has risen by 15 points and won 137 seats.
Ukraine is among the “Top 3” countries that have demonstrated a significant improvement in facilitation of doing business over the last year, taking the first place in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
The most significant reforms touched on the following areas:
- creation of enterprises
- taxation
- property registration
This indicates an increase in confidence and improving the environment for doing business in Ukraine.
Doing Business report has been drawn up for the tenth time, and covers 185 countries. It investigates regulations that favor or hinder the development of business, and cover the 11 stages of the life cycle of the company.
