On November the 30th MAYGER participated in Ukrainian-Lebanese business-forum, which was held as part of the meeting of the first joint meeting of the Ukrainian-Lebanese Intergovernmental Commission for Commercial and Economic Cooperation.
Cooperation of Ukrainian-Lebanese Intergovernmental Commission resulted in signing of the Protocol for Commercial and Economic Cooperation between the countries. Minister of Economy of Ukraine Vasyl Tsushko on part of Ukraine and the Minister of Economy and Trade of the Republic of Lebanon Mohammad Safadi on part of Lebanon co-chaired the Commission and participated in business-forum.
During the plenary part Minister of Economy of Ukraine expressed hope for future strengthening of cooperation between the countries, and Minister of Economy and Trade of the Republic of Lebanon emphasized the importance of mutually beneficial collaboration in different areas of Ukrainian and Lebanese economy.
The plenary part was followed by bilateral negotiations between the businessmen of the both countries. Lebanon companies were presented in the following areas: Investment, Tourism, Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics, Steel and Agribusiness Equipment production.
The signing of the Protocol is a very important event for development of stable trade and economic relations between the countries. The poof is that Lebanese businessmen expressed willingness to cooperate with MAYGER.
