Zhytomyr region – developed agro-industrial regions of Ukraine.
The competitive advantages of the region are:
– An investment partnership with 98 countries in the world;
– 430 existing enterprises with foreign capital;
– The unique natural resources: fertile black soil, 80% of national reserves of titanium ore and quartzite;
– 4th place in Ukraine on the number of forest resources, place 1 in the number of common stocks of wood;
– A large number of wood-processing enterprises;
– The presence of the high potential for organic agricultural production.
On the territory of the Zhytomyr region, there are more than 400 enterprises of the main circle.
In the structure of industrial production is dominated by the following economic activities: manufacture of food products, manufacture of non-metallic mineral products, wood processing, mining, machinery manufacturing, chemical production.
